Job Description
Reporting to the Hotel Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:
Lead, mentor and train the Food & Beverage Operations team
Ensure Food & Beverage relevant brand standards are maintained as well as to promote Mercure Brand promise
Plan and set up strategy to develop the revenue of F&B Department
Strategize on new products and service offerings
Financial planning to perform within targeted parameter
Managing operations of the Food and Beverage venues and ensuring consistent exceptional customer service
Driven project leader and concept creator
Support all the food and beverage outlets at the property
Qualifications
Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple tasks
Detailed F&B knowledge, including wine, food, mid-size banquet, weddings
Operational experience 3 years at an equivalent position in an international 5-star brand is preferred.
Excellent customer service, communication, organizational and interpersonal skills required.
Creative and display a flair for F&B related marketing and entertainment.
Fluent in English and Bahasa Malayisa language is a plus.
