Requirements :- Candidate must possess at least a Professional Certificate or Diploma In Engineering (Electrical/Electronic, Electromechanics)
At least 2 year of working experiance in the related field is required for this position. However fresh fresh gradutes are highly are encouraged to apply Experience in manufacturing industry especially Steel industry Steel industry will be an added advantage
- Must be able to work shift and on-call basis
1) Perform highly diversified duties to ensure all machinery and equipment are in good working order and maintained at high quality to prevent disruption of operation.
- 2) Provide prompt response to inquiries or request whenever there is a breakdown, and resolve the issue as quickly as possible.
3) Inspect and observe machinery and equipment installations and operations to ensure compliance with design, equipment specifications and safety standards.- 4) Locates sources of problems by observing electrical devices in operation and using precision measuring and testing instruments when required.
5) Perform preventive and predictive maintenance checks and servicing on equipment by implementing maintenance schedules.
- 6) Install, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders, fibre-optic and coaxial cable assemblies, lighting fixtures and other electrical components.
7) Proficient in testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, machinery and equipment using testing devices to ensure compatibility and safety of system.- 8) Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, electrical code specifications and schematics in order to effectively troubleshoot, maintain and repair machinery and equipment.
9) Operate and maintain a variety of hand and power tools used in the performance of assigned duties. Responsible for proper care/cleaning of tools, parts, materials and work area.
- 10) Prepare reports, forms, checklists, correspondence and related documentation regarding assigned operations in a complete, accurate and timely manner.
11) Work all shifts flexibly when job demands and responsible for providing coverage in the absence of other Technicians.- 12) Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
13) Ensure all Company rules, guidelines, system, policies and standards covering administrative procedures, safety and health regulations, quality and management standards (EHS, ISO, OHSAS), work practices and all applicable matters are maintained and followed.
