Urgent requirement:
Job Scope
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices in maintenance operations.
Conduct regular safety audits and inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
Providing leadership and guidance to maintenance teams, including technicians and contractors, to ensure they perform their duties safely and effectively.
Ensure good compliance in completing maintenance and repair checklists.
Lead the Electrical Team on all plant turnaround and shutdown. Work closely with maintenance supervisor and planner for effective planning and smooth execution.
Lead electrical critical maintenance involving electrical safety activity including executing the maintenance with regards to the inspection findings from respective Preventive Maintenance and Predictive Maintenance Tasks.
Take charge of troubleshooting repetitive electrical failures, participating in root causes analysis, implementing necessary repairs, and suggesting modifications for future improvements.
Liaise with original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) for complex technical issues. Work closely with OEM field service representative (FSR) to resolve issues effectively and efficiently.
Support maintenance planner in managing resources from contractors to support in-house team timely/ad-hoc with effective implementation of Maintenance Planning and Scheduling.
Effectively manage resources from contractors to provide timely support to the in-house team.
Implement quality control measures to maintain high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with the Asset Management Team to plan and execute maintenance engineering projects aimed at improving Plant and Equipment Uptime.
Support the professional growth of subordinates through performance reviews, training, mentoring, and coaching on a regular and structured basis.
Develop and maintain the training plan for the electrical team, especially on principles and procedures pertaining to electrical works.
Facilitating training and skills development programs to enhance the technical capabilities of maintenance personnel.
Qualifications
Min Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of experience in maintenance work in Petrochemical / Chemical sites.
Excellence know-how in high voltage electrical installation including high voltage induction motors and high voltage variable frequency drive.
Experience in Energy Management and Power Quality analysis.
Experience in leading a team for plant turnaround and shutdown.
Experience in managing workshop activities.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams.
