Project Planning and Execution: Assist with planning, conducting, and evaluating approaches to meet project objectives in a timely and cost-effective manner.
Requirement Management: Assist in identifying and organizing requirements and plan ahead works according to the given timeline. Apply usability procedures and principles based on client input.
Detailed Design: Perform detailed design and calculation for mechanical, electrical, and process services installations in various types of buildings, including hospitals, residential buildings, factories, commercial buildings, and hotels.
Technical Reviews: Conduct and participate in technical reviews of specifications, designs, codes, and local authority requirements.
CAD and Design Software: Use computer-aided design (CAD) software and other resources to design MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems required for projects.
Building Information Modeling (BIM): Utilize and develop BIM to ensure systems are coordinated in complex construction projects.
Budget Management (Contract Administration): Manage and forecast spending using whole life cycle costing techniques, ensuring that work stays within budget and energy-efficient systems are implemented.
Installation Oversight: Oversee and supervise the installation of building systems during site implementation stage and periodically visiting to construction sites to ensure proper installation and adherence to design specifications.
Job Requirements
Good communication skills in English & Bahasa Malaysia
Education: Degree in Electrical Engineering.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of working experience in the building industry (preferably in a Consulting Engineering Firm). Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Technical Skills:
Proficient in AutoCAD or similar software.
Experience with BIM software (Revit) is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of Power Electricity Distribution System Design (TNB/IEC/Suruhanjaya Tenaga).
Understanding of Construction Industry Practices and Building Services.
Knowledge in Fibre Optic Distribution Design and Extra Low Voltage & IT Design.
Experience in Contract Administration.
