Job Description:
- Design of Electrical, Electrical Low Voltage, Lift, Structural Cabling, Security & CCTV installations.
- Preparations of preliminary and schematic drawings for the above works.
- Preparation of design calculations
- Preparation of tender, contract and construction drawings and documentation
- Prepare cost data and budgetary estimates.
- Prepare submissions to Authorities such as TNB, SKMM, Suruhanjaya Tenaga and Local Authority for timely approvals and utility connections.
- Liaise and/or coordinate with clients, architects, civil & structural engineers and quantity surveyors, contractors and sub-contractors
- Periodic supervision of works on site.
- Contract administration; i.e. issuance of Engineer's Instructions, non- compliance record (NCR), certificate of payments, defects list, outstanding works list, etc.
- Prepare tender comparisons and tender reports, etc.
- Attend client consultant, site, coordination meetings, etc.
- Prepare variation orders, final accounts, etc.
- Prepare project correspondences, minutes of meetings, etc.
- Follow up on progress of works on site and compliance to the contract.
Job Requirement:
- Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical) or equivalent.
- Familiar with drawing and electrical design.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
- Up to 5 years of working experience in a related field is preferable for this position. Fresh Graduates are encouraged to apply
- Required Skill(s): Autocad, Microsoft Excel
- Possess own transport.
- Independent, analytical and decisive in problem-solving
- Communicative, responsible and able to work in a team
- Must be familiar with design guidelines of electrical commodity
