ACCOUNTABILITY
Responsible to assist Section Manager in manage, administration, implementation and coordination overall Health and Safety Management System, Fire Prevention Activities and ensure all workers comply with company safety policies and legal requirement to promote a safe and healthy working environment. To execute EHSS related legal and other requirement.
RESPONSIBILITY
Health and Safety Management System
To execute and implementing all planning and preparation activities for:
- Safety and Health Management System documentation, implementation and records.
- Activities related to Legal and other requirements from the Government Regulation.
- Annual Safety Training Programmed.
- Inspection at workplace and investigation to any occupational or work-related accidents.
- Company's accident statistics, monitoring and analysis on the safety achievements.
- Safety & Health Committees in organizing safety programs.
- Conduct orientation and briefing to new employees regarding Health and Safety policy.
- Coordinate service and maintenance all safety equipment's in order at all times.
Standard Management System
To assist and coordinate all planning and preparation activities for:
- Standard Management System documentation, implementation & reporting.
- Audit for ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System), OHSMS ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety), Environmental Management (EMP), Occupational Health Safety Management Program (OHSAMP), Safety Activities, Energy Management Program (EMP)
- EMS ISO 14001 and OHSMS ISO 45001
- To inspect workplace to determine if such nature liable to cause bodily injury to any person working at workplace.
- To investigate any accident, near miss accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning or occupational disease which happened at workplace.
- To assist employer of EHS committee in organizing and implementing OSH programs.
- To become secretary to EHS committee.
- To assist EHS committee in any inspection of workplace of checking the effectiveness and efficiency of any measures taken in compliance with the Act or any regulations.
- To collect, analyze and maintain statistics on any accident, dangerous occurrence, occupational poisoning and occupational disease which have occurred at place of work.
- To assist any officer carrying duty under the Act or any regulations made under the Act.
- To carry out any other instruction made by the employer or any person in charge of workplace on any matter pertaining safety and health.
Others
- To assist manager in monitoring, controlling the quality level of products and services and promote continuous improvements activities.
- To support in ensuring all their staff are comply with JCMS requirements / standard such as participating as High Performance Team, implementating 5S & etc.
- To assist in implementation items pertaining to OH&S and environmental activities.
- To ensure that all their direct reports support the manager in ensuring all their staff are comply with JCHMS, Safety & Environment in order to conduct their daily activities.
- To ensure their all subordinates is being equipped with proper training and information pertaining to JCMS, Safety and Environmet in order to conduct their daily activities.
- To conduct training for their subordinates in handling item related to EMS and OHSMS.
- To carry out internal periodical audits when being assigned.
- To supervise health and safety management and environmental management operations concerning the activities of the Department and Section.
