The general duties of an SHO are to ensure compliance an to promote safe conduct of work- Regulatory responsibilities of an SHO are specifically prescribed in the Occupational Safety and Health (Safety and Health Officer) regulations.
Implement and drive safety programs for the factory. With correct KPIs in place.
- Continuously improving to ensure sustained compliance to OSH law in company.
Lead the safety team to ensure sustained compliance to OSH law in company.- Liaise with DOSH to arrange for renewal of registered equipment and to close any observation and findings.
Established and implement standard operation procedures.
- Assess incident records and propose remedies.
Prepared summary of safety and health activities at the beginning of the following month.
