Job title: E-commerce Manager

Type: Contract, full-time, on-site

Duration: 12-months

Project description

Our client, a global FMCG player is seeking an eCommerce Manager to accelerate the growth of their digital business in Southeast Asia. The independent talent will manage and nurture relationships with distributors, e-commerce enablers, and key e-retailers. This role is based in the Malaysia office and requires close collaboration with marketing and sales teams, finance, agencies, and consultants.

The independent talent must have a comprehensive understanding of the e-commerce landscape, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to develop and implement effective strategies to boost sales.

Responsibilities:

  • Support business/promotion planning:
  • Responsible for weekly, monthly, and quarterly analysis and reporting of promotion performance, and regular meetings
  • Analyse indirect sales data using competitor intelligence, product intelligence, market analysis, customer/shopper intelligence, and market research
  • Support integrated activation planning with the brand team

  • Track sales & A&P:
  • Provide day-to-day operational and administrative support (e.g., invoices, asset review, etc.)
  • Collect data on sales, TTA, and KPIs from third-party sources, and track ads by month

  • Support KAM/planner:
  • Handle inquiries and resolve issues by coordinating with internal teams to manage the execution of agreed solutions

  • Manage A&P budgets:
  • Oversee trade marketing campaigns and e-commerce activities
  • Handle offline channels and digital commerce platforms in the FMCG sector
  • Support market establishment efforts in the B2B2C space

Requirements:

  • 5+ Years of Experience in Sales, with preferably 2+ Years as a Key Account Manager AND/OR 5+ Years of Experience in Trade marketing and e-commerce activities
  • Experience in FMCG is preferred, but not a must
  • Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia & English
