Overview:You are responsible for maintaining and continuously improving the maintenance efficiencies by increasing productivity and eliminating waste from work processes of maintenance planning and scheduling activities, implementing best practices and effective MRO spares management with relevant stakeholders, reducing unplanned work, and thus increasing planned work and work prioritization.
Responsible for overseeing and managing the safety of maintenance operations, ensuring safe work planning, scheduling and assisting execution by effectively implementing of site safety procedures.
- To schedule, plan, coordinate and oversee the entire program and activities with regards to work execution management i.e. maintenance work, inspection, maintenance project and Plant Turnaround or Shutdown.
Adhere to required maintenance and quality control procedures to ensure good maintenance practices.- Select the most appropriate task lists from the EAM library and review logical sequence of activities compared with an actual requirement to complete work planning with consultation from discipline engineer or supervisor. Improve the database when necessary.
Maintain and update equipment technical records in EAM application, assists in generating data for inputs to budgets, improvement in maintenance strategy and plan, and asset investment planning.
- Coordinate with the maintenance engineer and supervisor to prepare adequate resources to complete registered maintenance work orders. Seek approval from the Maintenance Manager for any extended work hours if necessary.
Plan for Maintenance Orders (PM, Calibration, Corrective, etc.) with the required details to perform including job method statements, resources, manhours, and completion date and time.- Schedule Maintenance Orders, PM Orders, and Calibration Orders to be completed by the Maintenance crews based on calculated manhours availability, priorities and the availability of production window.
Reject inappropriate Maintenance Work Orders and inform reasons to the Area Supervisor / Requestor.
- To verify critical path and interfaces between design, engineering, procurement, execution and commission of maintenance and project works.
Monitor procurement process for parts, services, equipment / tools rental related to orders being planned, or as requested by the Maintenance Team.- Coordinate routine Meetings with Maintenance and Production team.
Support in the development of asset, maintenance, reliability and failure data in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) application to support site reliability and asset management framework.
- Assume full responsibility for managing the maintenance execution team when instructed by The Management.
Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports.- Fulfill any additional tasks assigned by The Management.
Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in relevant Engineering field.- More than 8 years of experience in maintenance work in Oil and Gas / Petrochemical sites with 3 years of experience in a maintenance plannings role.
Familiar with process plant equipment maintenance and reliability.
- Proficiency in computer applications, particularly in Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) application, MS Offices Suites and planning software i.e. Microsoft Project or Primavera.
Experience in Turnaround Management is an added advantage.- Good coordination, communication and interpersonal skills are essential with hands-on experience
