Scope of Job:E-commerce Manager develops and executes online retail strategies to drive sales and enhance customer experiences. Oversee website functionality, digital marketing, and product management while ensuring seamless technical operations and security. Key responsibilities include sales analysis, team leadership, and vendor relations. Strong strategic, technical, and leadership skills are essential for this role.
- Key Objectives & Responsibilities:
- Strategic Planning and Execution
- Develop and implement the e-commerce strategy to drive on-line sales and customer engagement
Analyze market trends, competitor activities and consumer behavior providing insights and recommendations to Top Management
- Integrate online and offline channels (O2O) to enhance customer experience, increase sales, and improve operational efficiency
- Website Management
- Oversee the design, functionality and user experience of e-commerce website
Collaborate with 3rd party web developer and designers to ensure the website is visually appealing and easy to navigate
- Digital Marketing
- Plan and execute digital marketing campaigns i.e. SEO, SEM, email marketing and social media
Use analytics to measure the success of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly
- Product Management
- Manage online product catalog including product description, images, pricing and promotions
Coordinate with Merchandise department to ensure product availability and efficient stock management system
- Customer Experience
- Enhance the customer journey from browsing to post-purchase, ensuring seamless experience
Implement customer feedback systems to improve service and resolve issues
- Sales and Revenue Management
- Monitor sales performance and revenue targets, analyzing data to identify opportunities for growth
Develop and manage budgets for e-commerce operations and marketing
- Compliance and Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory and company policies related to e-commerce operations
Identify and mitigate risks associated with online retail activities
- Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, E-Commerce, or a relevant field.
- Demonstrated experience as an E-Commerce Manager or similar role, preferably in setting up or managing an in-house e-commerce platform.
Deep understanding of e-commerce platforms, technologies, and emerging trends.- Proficiency in utilizing web analytic tools and digital marketing platforms.
Strong analytically, organizational, and project management abilities.
- Familiarity with SEO, SEM, and various online advertising strategies.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
