Job Description

Job Responsibility

Transport Duties

  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods, packages, or passengers to specified locations.
  • Load and unload goods as required.
  • Ensure timely delivery or pick-up of items.

Vehicle Maintenance

  • Perform regular vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
  • Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
  • Keep the vehicle clean and presentable at all times.

Route Planning

  • Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries.
  • Use navigation tools and devices to find optimal routes.
  • Adjust routes based on traffic conditions and road closures.

Compliance

  • Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Follow company policies and procedures regarding transport and safety.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel usage.

Customer Service

  • Interact professionally with clients and customers during deliveries or pick-ups.
  • Handle any issues or complaints with courtesy and efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Language proficiency: English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin.
  • Proven experience as a Driver.
  • Required GDL driver's license.
  • Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent knowledge of local roads and routes.
  • Ability to operate GPS and other navigation tools.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
