  • Position: DPM Projects Team
  • Department: Programmes Department
  • Location: Based on Project Locations or 2 days/Week in the Office - KL Office: Lorong Tanjong, Bukit Gasing, 46000 Petaling Jaya, Selangor
  • Employment: 3 months
  • Duration: Full-Time, Dependent on Project Needs, or from 9AM-6PM for Office Work, for 3 Months starting October/November


  • Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field is preferred, though not mandatory
  • Past experience in managing projects within non-profit or university organisations is required
Ability to assist in the development and implementation of project plans, including task assignments, timelines, and resource allocation
  • Basic understanding of financial management tasks related to project budgeting and cost control
Ability to manage the full project cycle effectively, including the pre, during and post phases of the project
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to identify and address project-related issues in a timely manner
Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, to support project-related activities as needed
  • Ability to work remotely and in the field, demonstrating adaptability to different working environments
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with project stakeholders
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines
Familiarity with Google Workspace, particularly Google Docs and Google Sheets, for collaboration and document management
  • Fluent in both English and Malay, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages


  • Responsibilities
Internal Operations

1. Procurement & Logistics:

- Coordinate logistics for project-related events, meetings, and workshops

- Arrange travel and accommodation arrangements for project team members, if necessary

- Assist in procurement processes by obtaining quotes, coordinating purchases and tracking deliveries

2. Team Communication Support:

- Facilitate internal communication within the project team, ensuring that information flows effectively and timely

- Assist in preparing internal communications such as newsletters, announcements and updates

- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations of the Project Management Office

- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvement

3. Ad-Hoc Support:

- Provide support to project managers and team members as needed to ensure the successful completion of projects

- Handle other ad hoc tasks and responsibilities assigned by supervisors or project leads

  • Project Roles

1. Project Planning Support:

- Assist in the development and implementation of project plans, including task assignments, timelines, and resource allocation

- Contribute to the creation of project charters, scope statements, and work breakdown structures

- Track key milestones and deliverables, and provide regular updates to project stakeholders

2. Resource Management:

- Assist in identifying resource requirements for projects and help allocate resources effectively

- Monitor resource utilisation and availability, and communicate any resource constraints to project managers

3. Budget Tracking:

- Support the management of project budgets by tracking expenses, monitoring variances, and assisting in budget forecasting

- Ensure adherence to budgetary constraints and financial guidelines

  • Compensation: 3-Months: RM500 /Month
