- Position: DMR Caseworker (Medical FAP Unit)
- Location: In-Field with 1 Day /Week in the KL Office in Bukit Gasing, 46000 Petaling Jaya, Selangor
- Duration: Part-Time, 3 Days /Week, from 9AM-6PM, for 3 Months starting July 2024
Any qualification in sciences or healthcare is preferred, though not mandatory, or individuals with an interest in medicine are also encouraged to apply- Past experience in healthcare settings, such as hospitals or community clinics, or case management roles within medical organisations is preferred, though not mandatory
Basic understanding of medical terminology, patient care and healthcare administration is encouraged
- Proficiency in office administration duties, including record-keeping, scheduling, and procurement of medical supplies
Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends, to support project-related activities as needed- Ability to work remotely and in the field
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with healthcare providers, patients, families and external stakeholders
- Familiarity with Google Workspace, particularly Google Docs and Google Sheets, for collaboration and document management
Fluent in both English and Malay, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages
- Responsibilities (Internal Operations):
Patient Management: Coordinate patient intake and follow-up care, maintain patient records, and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations- Office Administration: Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and communication within the FAP Unit
Casework Activity: Conduct patient and home visits, and collaborate with volunteer doctors, social service agencies, and community organisations to ensure comprehensive patient care
