Description: Rationalz (now Teknowiz) is expanding its
Recruitment and Staffing vertical and looking out for an experienced Business Development Manager who will lead business development initiatives to generate and engage with customers to build a new business (Staffing & Recruitment) for the company across
the SEA region. The ideal candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills and must have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven track record of success in business development and sales, with a minimum of 10+ years of experience in the staffing or recruitment industry.
- Strong understanding of the staffing and recruitment process, including candidate sourcing, screening and placement.
- Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and internal teams.
- Results-driven mindset with a focus on exceeding targets and delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in any ATS software and Microsoft Office Suite
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to achieve revenue targets and expand our client base within the staffing recruitment vertical within SEA region.
- Identify and prospect potential clients through networking, cold calling and industry events and establish strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand clients staffing (permanent and contractual) requirements and provide customized recruitment solutions to meet their needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the successful execution of recruitment projects, including sourcing, screening, and presenting qualified candidates to clients.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights on market trends, talent availability and competitive landscape to inform their hiring decisions.
- Negotiate and finalize contracts, proposals and pricing agreements with clients, ensuring alignment with company policies and profitability targets.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the team, including setting performance targets, conducting regular performance evaluations and implementing strategies to ensure the team meets their targets.
- Track and report on sales metrics, pipeline activity and market trends to senior management and provide regular updates on progress towards targets.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement within the team and provide coaching and mentorship to support their
professional development.
- Stay current on industry best practices, emerging trends and competitive landscape and leverage this knowledge to drive continuous improvement and innovation in our recruitment solutions.
