Our client offers a self-service laundry solution in Malaysia that provides an easy and convenient way to clean and dry your weekly laundry using heavy-duty industrial machines at affordable prices. Customers can do their laundry at any time of day, without worrying about the weather, time constraints, or how long the cleaning process will take.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning and Execution:
    • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company's vision and long-term objectives.
    • Utilize Systemic Thinking to understand market dynamics and customer behaviors, ensuring effective Strategic Planning.
    • Drive Goal Achievement through meticulous planning and Structured Implementation of marketing initiatives.

  • Team Leadership and Alignment:
    • Provide Collaborative Leadership to the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity and innovation.
    • Ensure Team Alignment with organizational goals through effective communication and shared vision.
    • Promote Accountability by setting clear expectations and performance metrics.
  • Budget Management and Resource Allocation:
    • Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal Resource Management.
    • Monitor expenditures and ROI to ensure Efficiency Optimization.
    • Align resource allocation with strategic priorities to maximize impact.
  • Performance Management and Continuous Improvement:
    • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
    • Implement Performance Management systems to monitor progress and drive Continuous Improvement.
    • Utilize data-driven insights for Decision-Making and strategy refinement.
  • Competitor Response Management:
    • Monitor and Analyze:
      • Keep a vigilant eye on competitors activities, marketing campaigns, and market trends.
      • Analyze competitors strengths, weaknesses, and strategies.
    • Strategic Response:
      • Develop and implement innovative response strategies that maintain our competitive edge.
      • Leverage unique value propositions and customer benefits to differentiate our brand.

  • New Store Activation:
    • Planning and Execution:
      • Plan and orchestrate grand opening events for new store locations.
      • Coordinate comprehensive marketing campaigns to attract and build an initial customer base.
    • Community Engagement:
      • Conduct on-ground surveys and community outreach to tailor activations that resonate with local customers.

  • Revitalization Efforts:
    • Performance Analysis:
      • Identify underperforming stores through data analysis.
      • Investigate root causes by understanding local market dynamics and customer behaviors.
    • Strategic Improvement:
      • Develop and implement targeted strategies to improve store performance.
      • Remove obstacles hindering employees and customers from engaging with our brand effectively.

  • Tactical Promo Activations:
    • Campaign Development:
      • Design promotional campaigns that boost sales and enhance customer adoption of our latest technologies.
      • Focus on communicating the benefits rather than just features to drive customer engagement.
    • Execution Oversight:
      • Ensure campaigns are executed effectively without getting bogged down in minor aesthetic details.
      • Maintain objectivity in evaluating promotional materials for clarity, aesthetics, and understandability.

  • Data-Driven Decision Making:
    • Analytics and Reporting:
      • Utilize data analytics to inform marketing strategies and measure campaign effectiveness.

Requirements:


  • Education and Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Minimum of 10 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
    • Proven experience in branding with exposure to various types of media.
  • Skills and Abilities:
    • Strategic thinker with a deep understanding of brand dynamics and customer psychology.
    • Proficient in data analytics and using insights to drive decision-making.
    • Strong understanding of how to sell benefits over features.
