Overview
The Digital, Operation & Technology Audit Manager will manage audit activities to ensure timely delivery, adherence to budget, and compliance with required standards, ultimately providing value to the Bank. This role involves leading a team of internal auditors in executing audit engagements and preparing internal audit reports that reflect the results of the work performed.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage audit engagements, ensuring that auditing standards and procedures are observed and that audit quality assurance requirements are met.
- Provide independent assurance on the adequacy and effectiveness of digital technology and business operations security controls within the Bank.
- Track the implementation and closure of audit recommendations, reporting on overdue issues.
- Offer advisory and consulting services as needed.
- Participate in cross-border assignments and share knowledge and best practices.
- Maintain strong business partnerships with stakeholders and keep the Audit Division informed of emerging risks, trends, and new developments.
- Develop and maintain a professional development plan to continually enhance technical, interpersonal, and management skills in line with Audit Division requirements.
- Increase the effectiveness of audit processes by leveraging data analytics for risk discovery and insights, including designing and developing audit dashboards for continuous risk assessments and auditing.
REQUIREMENTS
- University degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or other related field. Professional certifications such as BKA, CISA, CISSP, or CISM are preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in Operations or IT auditing and data analytics, with exposure to areas such as branch operations, payment and settlement, cybersecurity, information security management, identity management, application systems development, telecommunications, network, IT infrastructure, IT projects, and systems support.
- Strong risk-based auditing experience with hands-on proficiency in data analytics tools, preferably ACL and/or QlikView.
- A self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a diligent work ethic.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively present audit findings and recommendations to clients.
Willingness to travel 15%-20%.
