Primary role is to create visually appealing and functional designs that meet the brands and organisations business goals. Responsible for conceptualising, designing, and delivering various creative design assets across different mediums, such as digital platforms, print materials, branding, packaging, and more. Creative expertise and attention to detail will be instrumental in producing high-quality designs that effectively communicate messages and enhance the user experience.
- Develop innovative design concepts, graphics, layouts, and visual elements based on project briefs, or creative direction provided. Create designs for various mediums, including websites, mobile applications, marketing collaterals, advertisements, presentations, packaging, and other visual assets.
Collaborate closely with inter-departmental team members or stakeholders to understand the design needs, goals, and brand guidelines. Maintain effective communication throughout the design process, incorporating feedback and making revisions as necessary.- Ensure that all designs adhere to brand guidelines, industry best practices, and design principles. Maintain consistency in visual elements, typography, color schemes, and overall aesthetics to create a cohesive and visually appealing brand identity.
Utilise design softwares such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), or other relevant software, to create and edit designs. Stay updated with the latest design trends and software advancements to enhance design capabilities.
- Ensure designs are intuitive, user-centric, and align with usability standards, while also considering the overall visual appeal.
Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and deliver high-quality designs within agreed-upon timeframes. Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Product, to ensure successful project execution.- Present design concepts, mock-ups, or prototypes to stakeholders, explaining the rationale behind design decisions and incorporating feedback to refine designs.
Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to design specifications before finalising and delivering the design assets.
- Responsible for organising and managing artwork files, ensuring proper naming conventions, file formats, and version control.
Collaborate with vendors/suppliers or printers to oversee the production process and ensure the final output meets the desired quality standards.- Update weekly WIP status report and ensure follow-ups, timelines, deadlines and revisions are in check.
- Educational Requirements or Equivalent:
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, etc.- Knowledge of motion graphics, prototyping tools, or video editing software are added advantage.
Knowledge of current design trends, best practices, and usability standards.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.
- Previous Experience Required:
Minimum 3 years proven experience as a Designer or similar role, with a portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects.
