Roles & Responsibilities
- To be main person-in-charged for core system (IL) and Online Portal. Responsible for quality test execution, coordination, analyse output and identify defects for the engaged test projects.
- Prepares user stories and walkthrough with IT developers for new products launching and system enhancement SRFs.
- To review takaful proposal by assessing personal profile, medical report and legal information.
- Approve and decline Takaful applicants based on risk analysis in accordance with company's underwriting and compliance guidelines, supports underwriting operation in ensuring the department meets the agreed section's productivity and performance.
- To analyze the risk involved and make recommendation accordingly within the set turnaround time and service level.
- Works closely with the SMEs, testers for requirement scope and test plans/ scripts preparation.
- Provides system updates briefing to underwriting operation team, ensuring that they are aware and well understanding on system enhancement.
- Supports underwriting operation team in core system (IL) and Online Portal related production incidents.
Job Requirements
- A degree in Biomedical Science/Biology/Health Science or any field related to human biology or public health.
- Minimum 3 years in medical underwriting with good knowledge of medical conditions with relevant exposures as a tester in different kind of testing methods of project life cycle.
- Able to hands on ability in preparing test cases, scripts, test data and execution plans in a timely and efficient manner.
- Able to work in fast paced and challenging environment.
- Adaptable and must be a team player as well as able to work independently.
