We are looking for an experienced Finance Reporting candidate to fill the Deputy Manager's position.
You should meet these minimum requirements for our consideration:
Experience
- Have a minimum of 5 years in related experience in finance/ accounting reporting
- Those with knowledge in MFRS 4, 9 or 17 would be preferred
- Degree in Accounting or ACCA/CIMA/ICEAW or relevant professional bodies
- Self-starter and work independently on projects, tasks, and learning
- Exceptional interpersonal skills
- Analytical & Attention to detail with good judgment
Your Job Scope will cover:
Financial Reporting
- Assist, support and review of management accounts, financial statements, quarterly returns, and regulatory reports to Financial Services Authority
- Produce/provide performance analysis and quality management information to facilitate the presentation of board papers and AmBest
- Ensure compliance and timely deliverables of internal and external reporting
- Coordinate with auditors for audited accounts
Process Enhancement
- Monitor performance and coordinate with IT for continuous improvements to ease financial reporting
- Assisting and coordinating projects (MFRS 9, 17 & LRUL's reconciliation)
- Manage daily operations by supervising subordinate's day-to-day activities to ensure that processes are managed and delivered effectively and efficiently
