About the job As a Deputy IT Operations, you will be responsible for aligning IT strategies with corporate direction, collaborating with other Heads of Departments (HODs), and ensuring the successful completion of company projects. Your role involves recommending new Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) or technologies to enhance company efficiency and productivity. You will utilize the allocated budget and resources effectively to achieve these goals.
In addition to these responsibilities, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring system reliability and performance, managing IT staff, and supporting the implementation of IT initiatives. Your ability to work cross-functionally with other departments will be crucial in driving technological advancements and operational improvements.
Responsible for assessing and managing the Data Center Capacity and Technology Refresh Planning.
- Responsible for shaping the strategic planning
Infrastructure Management- Demonstrating a deep technical and strategic understanding of the IT Service Management and Operations
Responsible for the IT budgeting and resource management to ensure cost effectiveness.
- Overseeing all aspects of the incident management process.
Vendor Management Leading the Business Continuity Plan & Disaster Recovery Activities
- Documentation of the Policiesand Knowledge Management
Perform Data Center Risk Assessment- Assists on Compliance and Regulatory Compliance
Bachelors degree in IT or related fields.- Professional Qualification / Regulatory Licensing Requirement in Certified Data Centre Professional (CDCP) certification.
Minimum of 8 years of progressively responsible experience in IT, showcasing a strong track record of growth and increasing responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
A detail-oriented approach with a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of integrity and ethics.- Proven ability to lead and manage a team, ensuring collaboration and achieving objectives.
