Assist the Pastry Chef in planning and organizing daily pastry production.- Prepare and execute a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods according to established recipes and standards.
Oversee the pastry station during service, ensuring timely and efficient production while maintaining quality and consistency.
- Supervise and train junior pastry team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
Monitor inventory levels of pastry ingredients and supplies, assisting in ordering and stock management.- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the pastry kitchen, adhering to food safety and hygiene regulations.
Collaborate with the Pastry Chef in menu development, recipe testing, and presentation enhancements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for pastry production.
Participate in special events, promotions, and menu changes, contributing creative ideas and suggestions.- Stay informed about industry trends, new techniques, and ingredients, continually enhancing pastry skills and knowledge.
