Data bricks Engineer - Junior

Required Technical Skill Set:

• Data processing Proficiency.
• Develop and optimize ETL processes using Databricks.
• Containerization: Utilize Docker for packaging Databricks.
• Problem-Solving and debugging.
• DevOps Practices: Implement CI/CD, automation, and version control for Databricks workflows.
• Good to have Technical Skill Set
• Energy Domain Knowledge

Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency):

Must-Have:

• 3+ Minimum years of data engineer experience in respective platform with an overall software engineering experience
• Proven experience in the following areas:
• Design codes framework
• Write efficient codes with minimal technical debt
• Write effective unit and integration tests
• Good communication skills & able to work with minimal supervision
• Continuously resolving a minor or major of technical requests, inquiries, bug fixes and complaints

Good-to-Have

• Experience in working with large customers in enterprise application development in the specified skillsets
• Experience in Agile based development

Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role

1Design and develop the respective platform codes, configurations and unit testing

2Ensure deliverables meet business requirements

3Document and communicate technical designs.

4Ensure all support or project activities are in compliance to the quality assurance, audit specification, internal controls and standards.

5Provide up- to- date and accurate relevant documentation of changes, fixes, upgrades, enhancements of supported applications and implementation procedures in accordance to established standards.
