Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate should possess strong skills in Python and SQL. Proficiency in financial and banking concepts is highly desirable.
Assist in collecting, cleaning, and analysing data sets using Python and SQL.
- Analyse data to identify trends, patterns and correlation, using statistical and data visualisation techniques.
Collaborate with team members and cross-functional teams to understand data requirements, develop and implement data pipelines.- Support the creation and maintenance of databases and data warehouses.
Prepare reports, dashboards and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Participate in testing and debugging data-related processes and applications to support ad-hoc analysis and special projects.
Document workflows, procedures, and best practices.
Currently pursuing a Bachelors in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or a related field.- Proficiency in Python and SQL.
Familiarity with Docker, Airflow, and Git is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and draw insights from data.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and data integrity.
