The ideal candidate will use their passion for big data and analytics to provide insights to the business covering a range of topics. They will be responsible for conducting both recurring and ad hoc analysis for business users.
Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain dashboards using PowerBI for effective data visualization and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide data-driven solutions.
- Design and implement data models, utilizing tools for efficient data analysis.
- Perform data cleaning, transformation, and validation to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
- Generate reports and presentations to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in data analysis and visualization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics).
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst or similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools, especially PowerBI, Excel & other similar tools.
- Ability to write SQL queries and solid understanding of database concepts.
- Experience with DAX for creating measures and optimizing data models.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong desire to step out of comfort zone to make things happen.
