We are recruiting for Cybersecurity Specialist for our client, a leading multi-national organization to safeguard their digital assets. As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing comprehensive security measures, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company's systems and data.
- Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents, investigating and responding to security breaches, intrusions, and unauthorized access attempts.
- Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.
- Configure and manage security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and endpoint protection solutions.
- Perform regular security audits, penetration testing, and security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.
- Stay up to date with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies, and provide recommendations to enhance our security posture.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into the design and development of new systems and applications.
- Conduct security awareness training programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and promote a security-conscious culture.
- Respond to security incidents and provide incident response support, including containment, eradication, and recovery efforts.
- Monitor and analyze security logs and reports, implementing improvements to enhance security monitoring and threat detection capabilities.
- Bachelor's Diploma/ Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
- Experience as a Cybersecurity Specialist, Security Analyst, or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies.
- Knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security architecture, with the ability to identify and address security vulnerabilities.
- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework) and experience in implementing and maintaining security controls.
- Proficiency in security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS), antivirus/anti-malware solutions, and endpoint protection.
- Experience with security incident response, including incident investigation, containment, and recovery.
- Knowledge of encryption technologies, secure coding practices, and secure network design principles.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
