We are recruiting for Cybersecurity Specialist for our client, a leading multi-national organization to safeguard their digital assets. As a Cybersecurity Specialist, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing comprehensive security measures, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the company's systems and data.
Conduct risk assessments and vulnerability scans to identify potential security threats and develop mitigation strategies.
- Monitor and analyze security events and incidents, investigating and responding to security breaches, intrusions, and unauthorized access attempts.
Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.- Configure and manage security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and endpoint protection solutions.
Perform regular security audits, penetration testing, and security assessments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation measures.
- Stay up to date with emerging security threats, vulnerabilities, and technologies, and provide recommendations to enhance our security posture.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security requirements are integrated into the design and development of new systems and applications.- Conduct security awareness training programs to educate employees on cybersecurity best practices and promote a security-conscious culture.
Respond to security incidents and provide incident response support, including containment, eradication, and recovery efforts.
- Monitor and analyze security logs and reports, implementing improvements to enhance security monitoring and threat detection capabilities.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
- Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Specialist, Security Analyst, or in a similar role, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and technologies.
Knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and security architecture, with the ability to identify and address security vulnerabilities.- Familiarity with security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework) and experience in implementing and maintaining security controls.
Proficiency in security technologies, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS/IPS), antivirus/anti-malware solutions, and endpoint protection.
- Experience with security incident response, including incident investigation, containment, and recovery.
Knowledge of encryption technologies, secure coding practices, and secure network design principles.- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify, assess, and mitigate security risks and vulnerabilities.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex security concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
