Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- Solution Consulting: Engage with prospective clients to understand their cybersecurity needs, challenges, and pain points, and propose tailored solutions that align with their business objectives.
- Product Demonstrations & Presentations: Deliver compelling product presentations, demonstrations, and proof of concepts (PoCs) to customers and stakeholders, clearly articulating the technical capabilities and benefits of the solutions.
- Technical Expertise: Stay up to date with the latest cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, and technologies. Be the subject matter expert (SME) in areas like identity and access management (IAM), Vulnerability Management (VM), Security Operation Centre (SOC) and Operation Technology (OT) Cybersecurity
- RFP/RFI Responses: Collaborate with sales and technical teams to respond to customer Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs), ensuring that the proposed solutions meet the required specifications.
- Customer, Solution Partner & Principal Engagement: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders such as decision-makers, security architects, and solutions leaders and experts to effectively position the company's cybersecurity offerings.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and marketing teams (internally and externally) to align product features with customer needs and market demands.
- Sales Enablement: Provide training, technical insights, and support to the sales team to improve their product knowledge and selling effectiveness. Assist in creating technical sales collateral.
- Customer Feedback: Act as a liaison between customers and product development teams by conveying customer feedback, feature requests, and market needs to ensure the company's solutions remain competitive.
Key Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP) are highly desirable.
- Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or technical pre-sales, with a strong understanding of security frameworks, protocols, and solutions.
- Experience working in a client-facing role, preferably within the cybersecurity industry.
- Experience in OT Cybersecurity are advantage
- Ability to work as an active member of a team
- Experience with lead generation and prospect management
- Persuasive and goal-oriented
- Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanour
- Able to professionally and confidently communicate with C-Level Executives
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and excellent inter department team player
- Excellent analytical and time-management skills
- Technical Skills:
- Deep knowledge of cybersecurity domains, including network security, cloud security, encryption, identity management, threat detection, incident response, and data protection.
- Proficiency with cybersecurity tools such as network security, identity security and
- Hands-on experience with IAM platforms like SailPoint, CyberArk, Saviynt is a plus
- Hands-on experience with VM & OT platforms like Tenable is a plus
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Team-oriented with an ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Travel:
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, presentations, and events (up to 30-40%). across Malaysia and Singapore
