Role Description

Executive (Business Analyst) - Cyber Security

The Cyber Security (CS) Unit under GAP (Governance Assurance and Planning) department is responsible to define, implement and monitor Cybersecurity practices for PDB and subsidiaries. We are looking to recruit an Executive who will be critical for the success of this Unit's activities and program. Reporting to the CS Unit Head, this role also requires close collaboration with the wider PDB and Group Cybersecurity focals and co-ordinating activities with the different departments as and when required.

Tasks and duties

Working with and supporting the CS Unit Manager on the daily day-to-day activities of the Unit, including operational and administrative support.

Participate in CS Business Impact Assessments that are carried out and perform effective monitoring and tracking of open items, risk and issues, until satisfactory closure.

Supporting the CS Team in rolling out any Cybersecurity framework, processes and procedures as required for new entities.

Support and maintain the information repository to ensure all required monthly and quarterly reporting's are produced in a timely manner.

Work with data in an appropriate tool (eg Excel, PowerBI) to generate charts and analysis for reporting requirements.

Tracking of all CS open actions arising from formal and informal scenarios to ensure satisfactory closure.

Working collaboratively with PDB and Group CS colleagues as and when required to ensure alignment across the organization for CS matters.

Assist in the reviews and updates of relevant CS and Governance framework and processes including analyzing existing processes, recommending and implementing changes, documenting new processes and procedures to support compliance and best practices for CS and Governance.

Support communications for any campaigns or events by creating contents and timely posting of information in collaboration with the CS Team Manager.

Undertake any other duties commensurate with the level of this post that may be allocated by the Management Team

Requirement:

  • A degree preferably in IT, or equivalent. Other degrees can be considered if the work experience matches.
  • Demonstrated work experience in roles that focus on governance, compliance and related IT functions is highly advantageous.
  • Possess some understanding of Cybersecurity process, standards and governance
  • Interest to learn on Cybersecurity as there will be numerous learning opportunities available
  • Adept at using Excel and/or PowerBI tool and other data analysis tools, good with numbers, charts and numeric analysis
  • Exposed to working with multi teams across different functions
  • Highly organized and ability to operate independently in a multi facet work environment.
  • Demonstrates good oral and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia
  • Consistently deliver accurate high-quality work to deadlines and required standards
