Job Responsibility
Role
- The Customer Service officer is a first point of contact for SMART & Midas Mart customers and their registered members.
- The primary role of a Customer Service Officer within the team is to respond to a variety of customer requests and inquiries via the telephone or in person over the counter.
- Interact with SMART & Midas Mart customers and their registered members to provide with information to address the inquiries with regarding to Midas &/or SMARTs products and services.
Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Handle incoming requests or complaints from customers and ensure that issues are resolved both promptly and thoroughly.
- Resolves product or service problems by clarifying the customer's complaint; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
- Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries
- Provide pricing and delivery information to the registered members.
- Perform customer verifications and set up new customer accounts, process orders, forms, applications and requests
- Organize workflow to meet customer timeframes
- Direct requests and unresolved issues to the designated resource
- Manage customers accounts and their database.
- Record details of inquiries, comments and complaints as well as actions taken
- Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process
Job Requirements
- Degree Holder or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years relevant working experience.
- Customer Service Orientation and sense of commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Has thick skin and is able to handle complaints and unpleasant customers.
- Computer Literate and familiar with MS Office
