Job Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible to liaise with local and overseas customers on sea freight, invoicing, monitoring and updating customers from time to time. Ensure timely deliveries and ensure customer's requirements are met with satisfaction.

DUTIES

  • To cany out 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle) practices within PKT Group of Companies


  • Direct liaise with transport company/shipping line or agents for import shipments (for both FCL and LCL shipments).


  • Coordinating shipments and transport arrangements (for both FCL and LCL shipments) by communicating with internal and extemal customers and transporter to ensure timely delivery.


  • Correspond with customers regarding availability, shipment date, shipment tracking and current status.


  • Advanced preparations with co-loaders to book for import and trans-shipment.


  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of the shipping documentations are completed and maintained at all times.


  • Issuance of customers invoices and payment request such as LSC, Storage and D&D charges are timely to prevent EDO/DO late released by shipping agents.


  • Responsible on issuance of request of transport (ROT) and gate pass to Operations team/haulage companies.


  • Monitor delivery status to customers on daily basis to ensure delivery are as scheduled and minimized backlogs.


  • Import permit declarations and custom clearance.

    1 1 . Work closely with internal departments to coordinate customer's shipment.


  • Organized documents in orderly manner before submit to Billing team for job closing.


  • Build and maintain good rapport with customers to fulfil their requirements.


  • Perform any other assignments as and when directed by Superior/s and comply with the company's rules and regulations.

    COMPETENCE

    Education Minimum qualifications - Diploma in any field.

    Prior related working experience is preferred but candidates without prior experienced are also

    Experience encouraged to apply

    Computer literacy - Words, Excel and PowerPoint

    Proficiency in both spoken and written languages - English and Bahasa Malaysia.

    Skills Customs clearance procedures are an added advantage.

    Good personality with positive attitude and service oriented

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
