This position requires the individual to navigate many uncharted grounds, build processes and teams from ground up- Spearhead the Cross Border logistics operations and be responsible for in line with the business plan and corporate objectives
In charge of cost-efficient network expansion and operations work flow according to business directions and compliant to local authority policies
- Work closely with sales teams, customers, freight forwarder, transporter and other government agencies related to shipping requirements
Coordinate with airlines, export brokers, air/sea freight forwarders, warehousing service partners, delivery service partners and vendors to ensure timely shipment connectivity and delivery within service level target- Built and maintain strong relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics service providers, including negotiate contracts and service agreements to achieve favorable terms
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the logistics team, encouraging innovation and efficiency enhancement
- Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging trends in logistics
Ensure all shipping documentation, including customs paperwork, is accurately prepared and in compliance with international trade regulations- Stay abreast of changes in customs regulations and ensure adherence to legal requirements
Able to work independently, take up ad-hoc assignment and work under pressure
- Involve in cost control and budget planning
Degree in Supply Chain / Engineering / Business Administration or its equivalent.
- 2-5 years of experience in logistics and forwarding roles, with a focus on international transportation
Strong knowledge of customs regulations, trade compliance, and international shipping practices.- Customer oriented, good team player with excellent communication skill
Proficient with Logistics management software/tools, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
- Proficient in both written and spoken in English and Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, Indonesian and Vietnamese will be an added advantage
Good time management skills and able to multitask
