Roles/Responsibilities
In this role, you will be expected to:
- Provide credit evaluation on financing applications submitted by Business Units covering risk assessment, review appropriate facility structuring, and etc. This includes completion of credit papers / memos / term sheets for submission to relevant approving authority / Credit Committee for decision.
- Provide financial projections or sensitivity analysis for credit evaluation where necessary.
- Interview clients with Relationship Managers on site-visits if required.
- Perform independent post-approval reviews on credit accounts.
- Monitor loan portfolio repayments as well as conduct periodic credit review on accounts.
- Assess and ensure overall good health of department's credit portfolio.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and statistics.
- Involve in managing the efficacy of credit policies, guidelines and procedures.
- Participate / attend credit-related business development meetings with external parties.

Requirements
We are looking for someone with:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Retail Business / SME / Commercial credit analysis OR SME/Biz banking sales-relationship management experience.
- Minimum a recognised Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
- Equipped professional experience in Finance or Credit Analysis and/or with qualification in Credit Certified Professional (CCP)/ Professional Credit Certification -CCE/BCP from AICB /Omega CSA will be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with good grasp of financial analysis and cash flow projections.
- Must have sound knowledge of credit products, credit policy & procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Constantly updated to latest financial, banking, compliance, economic-related news/issues.
- Good interpersonal and writing skills with fluency in English and comprehension in Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Spreadsheet; expertise in PowerQuery and PowerPivot and/or knowledge VBA for Excel and/or JavaScript scripting will be an added advantage.
