Job Responsibilities
- To check completeness of application form and documents.
- Review supporting income documents and calculate verified income accurately.
- To detect fraudulent application, tampered / suspicious documents and ensure timely fraud escalation to Fraud Management Unit.
- Perform loan approval within delegated approving authority limit.
- Rework appeal & match documents (previously incomplete) applications from sales.
- Effective and efficient decision making of loan application within the required TAT while adhering to existing credit underwriting guidelines and policies.
- To maintain good booking quality measured through IL / NCL rates.
- To provide recommendation for credit applications beyond the credit officer's approving authority limit or where deviation approval is required.
- Perform verification on customer's personal and/or employment information where required.
- To ensure customer's complaint is being handled and resolved in a timely and professional manner.
- Any other task assigned by superior from time to time
- Timely reporting of suspicious money laundering activities. (If any)
- To lead and manage a team of credit evaluators
- To display good teamwork & interpersonal sensitivity to foster a positive and productive working environment.
- Ensure strict adherence to all credit policies, procedures, BNM guidelines, compliance & etc.
Job Requirement
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking, Business Studies/Administration/Management, Commerce or equivalent.
- At least 1-2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Having CCP Certification is an advantage
