Job Description

Job Responsibility

  • Manage a portfolio of high-value accounts, including evaluating credit risk, setting credit limits, and establishing payment terms.
  • Lead a credit control team to ensure efficient collections and customer engagement.
  • Develop and implement credit control policies, procedures, and strategies to minimize credit risk and reduce debt.
  • Monitor and analyze customer payment trends, identifying potential issues and taking proactive steps to address them.
  • Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve disputes and maintain positive customer relationships.
  • Review and assess the creditworthiness of new and existing customers, making informed credit decisions based on thorough analysis.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date customer records, ensuring all communication and correspondence are well-documented.
  • Prepare and present reports to management, highlighting key credit control metrics, trends, and recommendations.
  • Implement and oversee an effective dunning process, escalating communications as needed while maintaining professionalism and customer goodwill.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, regulatory changes, and market trends affecting credit control and financial risk management.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or any field. Master's degree or professional certificate is an added value.
  • At least 3 years of experience in credit control or accounts receivable, with at least in a supervisory or senior role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing a portfolio of high-value accounts and driving efficient collections.
  • Strong understanding of credit risk assessment, credit limit setting, and payment terms negotiation.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team to achieve collective target.
  • Proficient in using financial software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills to manage customer relationships effectively.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
