Job Summary
The Credit Analyst will be responsible for evaluating creditworthiness and making credit
decisions for Borong's clients. The incumbent will be required to analyze financial information,
review credit reports and assess risk to determine whether to approve or deny credit applications.
Key Accountabilities
- Evaluate creditworthiness of Borong's clients by analyzing financial information, credit reports, and other relevant data.
- Make credit decisions on new credit applications, credit limit increases, and credit renewals.
- Manage credit risk by monitoring customer payment patterns and identifying potential delinquencies or defaults.
- Ensure compliance across all system, structure, and processes within the credit department and company-wide activities in accordance with local regulations.
- Provide insights on credit trends and customer behavior to support decision-making and continuous improvement.
- Work with credit reporting agencies to maintain accurate credit information on customers.
Qualifications and Job Requirements
- At least 2 years experience in credit management in the SME market.
- Experiences in audit, finance and accounting is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting; CPA/ACCA or equivalent is preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of credit risk assessment techniques, credit policies, and regulatory requirements.
