Responsibilities
Develop overall local operational strategy and direction for the operation teams
Set clear objectives and guide team members to achieve targets. Performance standards while focusing on the key Performance Deliverables
Manage day-to-day operations, customer liaison and lead successful achievement of daily KPI
Responding to customer complaints or queries in a fast efficient and concise manner
Actively reviewing operational procedures, identifying opportunities for improvement and promoting continuous improvement within the team
Develop and enforce efficiencies in paperless processing; heavily involve in achieving automation capability in identified functions
Develop personal development plan and ensure people growth with proper coaching and best practice sharing across the teams
Requirements
Degree in any related field or equivalent
At least 5 years experience in Contract Logistics operations
Strong leadership and management skills with excellent problem solving competency
Able to work independently and under pressure with minimum supervision
Customer orientated, good people skills and able to work with people at all levels
Good motivation, team building and influence skills
Analytical with proven problem solving skills and strong focus on continuous improvement
Knowledge of Business improvement methodologies
