Job Descriptions:
- Supports multiple entities across APAC;
- Assists with the year-end financial audit and compliance audits;
- Accurate processing of month end journals (inventory related, fixed assets and costs) and inventory reconciliation;
- Assists in costs related variance analysis and investigations;
- Assists in overhead costs allocations;
- Assists with annual physical counts and cycle counts, including preparation, cutoffs, audit of counts and reconciliations;
- Maintain standard costs;
- Perform month-end costing accounting close;
- Generates labour utilization report on quarterly basis;
- Assists with fixed assets register maintenance including additions and disposals;
- Supports standardization and consolidation efforts and initiatives to allow for a shared service structure;
- Provides support to establish data mining and automation techniques and systems that enable more efficient analysis;
- Any other duties as assigned by Assistant Controller.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience (3-5 years);
- Experience in manufacturing industry;
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) / Chartered Global Management Accountant (CGMA) certification preferred;
- Excellent analytical skills with high data accuracy;
- Must be willing to work at Penang Island, Malaysia.
