Corporate Materials Analyst

Responsibilities:

• Analyze data and prepare reports, spreadsheets, metrics as required
• Prepare and manage database tools to support commodity teams during RFQ cycles
• Assist in the preparation of recommendations based on the analysis of commodity data
• Prepare summary reports, spreadsheets and charts based on analysis of data from multiple sources
• Create and/or maintain databases in support of data collection
• Audit data, challenge and resolve data integrity issues and present findings responsible manager
• Proactively identify and escalate potential issues related to commodity data
• Where applicable, suggest process/communication improvements relative to metric tracking activities
• Drive data clean up working with sites and suppliers
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in any discipline with at least 4 years of procurement and/or commodity knowledge
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Access database management and queries
• ERP systems (Infor LN and Baan) and/or SQL database experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Highly proficient verbal and written communication skills
• Strong, accurate, analytical, problem solving and statistical skills
• High attention to detail
• Proficiency in extracting, analyzing and summarizing data
• Demonstrate confidentiality
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
