Role Overview
Join Maxis as a Corporate Communications Intern and gain valuable experience in managing internal and external communications. In this role, you'll contribute to key communications efforts, including media monitoring, content creation, and multimedia production, helping Maxis communicate effectively across its platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Media Monitoring and Reporting: Track and report on media coverage relevant to Maxis to inform strategic communications decisions.
- Drafting News Releases and Internal Announcements: Assist in drafting clear, engaging news releases and announcements for internal and external audiences.
- Video Production and Photography: Support the creation of visual content for internal platforms, helping bring our communications to life.
- Translation Works: Translate content to maintain accessibility across language barriers.
Preferred Skills/Qualifications
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills (English & Bahasa Malaysia): Proficient in crafting clear messages for diverse audiences.
- Basic Videography and Photography Skills: Knowledge of video production and photography to enhance content quality.
- Microsoft Office Proficiency (Excel, PowerPoint, Word): Competency with essential software for reporting, presentations, and other tasks.
- Proactive Attitude and Eagerness to Learn: Enthusiastic about engaging in various projects and acquiring new skills in a dynamic communications environment.
- Currently Pursuing Tertiary Education in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related fields.
