Job Description: Develop and execute corporate communication strategies to effectively communicate the company's mission, vision, values, and key messages to stakeholders included brand strategy across all communication channels not limited to press releases, newsletters, website content, social media posts, and internal communications.
- Support crisis communication efforts by drafting messaging and coordinating responses to ensure timely and accurate communication. This also includes extensive media monitoring and social media listening for daily news monitoring analysis throughout the development of the crises.
Support internal communication initiatives by developing employee communication materials, including announcements, newsletters, and intranet content, to ensure alignment with companys objectives and values.
- 2. Media engagement and monitoring
Manage media relations activities, including building relationships with the key editors/journalists and coordination of media engagement activities.- Assist in monitoring media coverage (mainstream media and social media listening) for direct brand mentions and industry trends to identify opportunities and risks to companys reputation. This includes generating media analysis reports for specific issues, crises and special projects.
- 3. Social Media and Web Platforms
To develop and execute social media plan. Create engaging content, optimise content from across departments, and foster community interaction. Leverage and utilize social media analytics to drive engagement and website traffic.- To support in reviewing and updating content on the company website in close collaboration with related departments.
Responsible in supporting and implementing 360 marketing activities, including online social media channels, offline promotion, and marketing to improve brand awareness, creative designer activities and overall brand image.
- 5. Event Management & Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)
Responsible for preparing proposal, pitches, the development and execution of the event strategy including the creative direction, budget, logistic, production, technical and programming aspects of the events.- Designing, implementing and overseeing the monitoring and evaluation activities of the organization's CSR projects and programs.
To support assessment of all profiling initiatives such as invitations and external event participation or collaborations for optimal branding and visibility while safeguarding companys reputation.
- 6. Licensing, Certification, Grant, Intellectual Properties & Vendor Registration
Oversee of all application of licenses, certification, grants, intellectual properties, permits, and vendor registrations including new registration, renewal dates, expiration dates, and associated documentation.
- Responsible for registration companies such as Energy Commission, CIDB, and other relevant government authorities.
Generate regular reports for management, detailing the status of licenses, certification, intellectual properties, permits, and vendor registrations, along with any compliance issues or upcoming renewals.
Prepare for monthly/quarterly/annual reporting to ensure timely and accurate reporting to Superior and/or Management.- Responsible to analysis and prepare the report for Customer Satisfaction Survey.
- Bachelors Degree or Professional Degree in Business Management, International Business, Finance, Banking, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of working experience in a corporate strategy position with a proven track record. Experience at the board level is an added advantage, especially within a fast-paced and dynamic business environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Melayu.
- Demonstrated exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to translate these into actionable strategies and plans. Strong skills in corporate finance and performance monitoring are required.
- Strong communication, negotiation, management, and leadership skills in handling projects, proposals, and initiatives.
- Superior time management abilities and the capability to meet deadlines.
- Experience in media relations, event management, and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
- Possess a high level of organizational skills.
