Key Responsibilities:Corporate Transactions: Provide expert legal advice and support on corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring.
Contract Negotiation: Review and leading negotiations on complex, high-value, contracts and agreements.
Commercial: Draft and manage complex corporate commercial agreements and regulatory documentations, handling such matter comfortably within fast-paced business environment. (i.e. Share Sale Agreement, Shareholder Agreement, Merger and Acquisition, due diligence and IPO compliance and etc.)
Governance: Advise on corporate governance matters, including compliance with Malaysian corporate laws and regulations.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential legal risks and issues affecting the business.
Client Interaction: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing clear and effective legal advice tailored to their needs.
Legal Research: Stay current with legal developments and industry trends to offer informed guidance.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other legal professionals and departments to support the firms objectives and enhance client service.
Independence: Identify and remedy complex corporate and commercial issues independently and effectively
Education: Bachelors Degree in Law
Bar Admission: Admitted to practice law in Malaysia.
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in corporate law, with a proven track record in handling complex corporate transactions and legal issues.
Strong understanding of Malaysian corporate laws, regulations, and industry practices.
Proven experience in Relationship Management and a demonstrated ability to lead a legal team and develop talents that subsequently drive value across the business.
Successful experience creating departmental priorities that align strategic direction of the legal department and the overall business objectives
Exceptionally good communication which will especially be necessary in this leadership positions.
Clear communication of instructions and information down the line will significantly determine the performance and efficiency of junior lawyers.
Must be result-driven and service-driven individual, highly adaptable and flexible, work comfortably in fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Able to fit with vibrant and energetic office culture.

Advanced Degree: Bachelors Degree in Law
Industry Experience: Experience in Corporate.
