Job Description

As a Cook or Assistant Cook specializing in Western Cuisine under Jom Makan by KitchenCo, you will be responsible for the preparation and cooking of a variety of Western dishes across multiple brands. Your role will involve working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, ensuring the quality and consistency of food served to our customers. You will collaborate closely with the Central Kitchen team to execute menu items according to established recipes and standards.
  • Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a range of Western dishes, according to established recipes and standards.
  • Collaborate with the Central Kitchen team to ensure efficient kitchen operations and timely food service.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, including proper storage and handling of ingredients.
  • Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and ordering supplies as needed.
  • Procure supplies from the central kitchen.
Follow instructions from senior kitchen staff and contribute ideas for menu improvement and innovation.
  • Uphold high standards of quality and presentation for all dishes served or delivered.


  • Requirements:
Previous experience in cooking, preferably experienced in Western cuisine
  • Strong understanding of cooking techniques and methods, with a focus on Western culinary traditions.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen environment, managing multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with kitchen staff and management.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new recipes and techniques.
Certification from a culinary school or relevant training programs is a plus, but not required (Training will be provided).
  • Passion for food and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences to customers.
