Responsibilities
Carry out the full spectrum of data analysis, from setting data requirement, data analysis, and results sharing through data cleansing and into the creation of new insights and knowledge based on thorough and deep statistical analysis of the data
Perform experience analysis, prepare reports and/or presentation materials for various health platforms and meetings e.g. Health Portfolio Management meetings, In-force management meetings.
Work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the smooth flow of acquiring, validating, and onboarding data in a timely manner.
Regularly run the standard experience analysis templates for their adequacy to the SEA health business.
Monitor the health portfolio performance to trigger necessary management review and actions.
Support tracking of the management actions on timely basis to proactively manage the health business.
Maintain and update health data and treaty status logs and follow up on action items.
Providing technical support to the Health Actuarial team, claims and pricing functions for data projects/ analysis that involve working with health data, as required.
Requirements
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in business, actuarial, mathematics, statistics or similar quantitative field.
Fresh graduate or 1-2 years working experience in life insurance / reinsurance companies Insurance industry knowledge with good understanding of medical reimbursement insurance products and business management processes.
Skills & Competencies:
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Proficient in using statistical software like SQL, R and Python.
Proficient analytical and problem-solving skills.
Highly motivated and strong attention to detail.
Strong analytical, data management skills, attention to details and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to translate business needs and problems into technical solutions with limited assistance.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, and with multiple concurrent projects.
Excellent English communication skills both written and verbal.
