Job Summary:We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Content Moderator with fluency in Mandarin to join our team. As a Content Moderator, you will be responsible for ensuring that all user-generated content meets the platform's guidelines and community standards. Your role will involve monitoring, reviewing, and moderating content to maintain a safe and respectful online environment.
Content Review: Review and moderate user-generated content (text, images, videos, etc.) in Mandarin to ensure it complies with platform policies, guidelines, and legal requirements.
- Policy Enforcement: Identify and take action on content that violates community guidelines, including issuing warnings, removing content, or escalating issues as necessary.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure accuracy and consistency in moderation decisions, maintaining high standards in content evaluation.User Communication:
Respond to user queries or reports regarding content, providing clear and concise explanations in Mandarin when necessary.Trend Monitoring: Stay informed about current events, cultural trends, and sensitive topics that may impact content on the platform.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the content moderation team, policy teams, and other relevant departments to improve moderation processes and update guidelines as needed.
Reporting:
Document and report on content trends, user behavior, and moderation issues to help inform policy adjustments.
Language Proficiency:
fluency in Mandarin (both written and spoken) is required. Proficiency in English is also necessary for internal communication.Experience:
Previous experience in content moderation, customer service, or a related field is preferred.Attention to Detail: Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate content objectively and make consistent decisions.
- Cultural Awareness: A deep understanding of Mandarin-speaking cultures, including slang, idioms, and regional differences.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in using content management systems, moderation tools, and familiarity with social media platforms.Communication Skills:
