Job Description
The Consultant is responsible for leading and managing strategic human capital advisory projects, particularly in relation to board advisory and executive compensation practices.
This position requires close collaboration with consultants within WTW, both locally and regionally, to deliver high-quality client work. It also involves building trusted advisor relationships with clients, exploring cross-selling opportunities for other WTW products/services, and being an integral part of a globally connected team.
The Role
- Leading and managing human capital advisory projects encompassing a wide range of areas such as executive compensation practices, board advisory, HR strategy, performance management, organizational design, and workforce diagnostics. This includes designing and developing frameworks and solutions to address client challenges.
- Ensuring the effective management of multiple prestigious client projects, including drafting statements of work, project plans, and budgets that involve multiple workflow streams and client teams.
- Engaging in marketing initiatives by providing support in the development of compensation methodologies, contributing to proposal writing, and conducting surveys.
- Establishing trusted advisor relationships with client contacts through effective communication and the efficient, high-quality execution of projects.
Qualifications
The Requirements
- Min. 5 years of experience in areas such as management consulting, corporate strategy, business development, or a finance-related background. Alternatively, candidates with 4 years of relevant industry experience in private sector HR or a background in HR consulting will also be considered.
- Demonstrate a strong aptitude for strategic thinking and analytics, as well as the ability to develop, design, and formulate frameworks, strategies, and solutions. They should also possess the capacity to effectively execute and manage deliverables and projects.
- Strong client relationship, interpersonal and team skills
- An executive presence with polished and well developed oral and written communication skills.
- Self-starter attitude and ability to work within ambiguity.
- Enjoy training and mentoring junior staff.
- The ability to see the big picture and to make the most of the resources of related practices to address the clients business challenges.
- An undergraduate degree is required; a degree in finance, accounting, economics, engineering and/or professional qualification such as CFA, ACCA, ICAEW, CPA would be considered advantageous.
