Position Title: Construction Worker/General Worker
- Working Location: Sembawang/Island Wide
Working Hours:
- 5 days (Monday to Friday 9 AM 6 PM, Saturday 9 AM 1 PM)
- Salary Package: Salary $1,000 per month (hourly basis) + OT
Duration: Permanent
Perform a variety of tasks involving physical labor at construction sites.- Assist in loading and unloading building materials and equipment.
Operate hand and power tools of all types, including air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment.
- Clean and prepare construction sites by removing debris and possible hazards.
Dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble and debris.- Mix, pour, and spread concrete and other materials.
Follow construction plans and instructions from supervisors or more experienced workers.
- Measure and cut materials to specified dimensions.
Assist in the installation of structures and fixtures, such as windows, doors, and frames.- Perform minor repairs on existing structures.
Minimum NITEC or equivalent qualification.- Previous experience in construction or general labor is a plus.
Has knowledge in electrical is advantageous.
- Ability to operate a variety of tools and machinery.
Good physical condition and stamina.- Ability to follow instructions and work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of basic safety regulations and procedures.
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
