We are seeking highly motivated and well-qualified candidates to join our Internship program under the Research & Development and Service & Support Department. Be a part of the software development team in the maritime industry to experience a new adventure.
The Intern will be assigned to one of the teams below:
QA (Software Testing)
- Conduct software testing (mostly smoke tests, UI tests and functionality tests) on assigned modules in the BASSnet suite.
- Document test cases as requested by the Supervisor.
- Databases used: MSSQL Server.
Software Engineer (R&D)
- Familiarity with .NET development, particularly ASP.NET.
- Basic understanding of data dictionaries and database documentation
Project & Service Implementation
Assistant to project domain consultants (DC) to carry out preparation tasks for rollout upgrade/new projects, refer to listed job scope and not limited to below.
- Conduct data verification and testing on customer-submitted register data
- Conduct function testing on the ERP system module (i.e. Procurement, HR & Payroll, and other modules), by referring to the standard training CBT, lab exercise.
- Assist DC in performing reported issue simulation testing and root cause finding, based on Customer UAT and go live support assigned tickets.
- Conduct data verification (at application and database) on the data relationship/data content analysis and identify the root cause for DC to take up for solution delivery.
- Enhance the customized reports using Crystal Reports/Report Designer (Dev Express) as reporting tools.
- Preparate customer-based test script, and user guide.
- Assist in ad-hoc service delivery, i.e. report and data verification, testing, and support.
IT Support
Hand on task as below.
- Diagnose and resolve IT-related components reported by internal users
- Specialists manage IT-related readiness for employee onboarding
- Provide remote assistance to internal users working from different locations.
Requirements/ expectations:
- Candidate must possess or currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Business Information Systems.
- Prefers last semester candidates
- Duration of internship: 3-6 months
- Required language(s): English.
- Applicants must be willing to work in Jalan Ampang.
