Job Description
- Drive the maintenance and continuous improvement of the GDC-wide Compliance Management System (CMS).
- Ensure compliance with ISO 37301, internal and external regulations, and client requirements.
- Create and maintain compliance documentation such as the Code of Conduct and Compliance Guidelines.
- Set and enforce compliance rules for the organisation.
- Operate the compliance case management system and conduct internal investigations when necessary.
- Develop and conduct staff training to raise awareness about compliance.
- Identify and manage compliance risks across the organisation.
- Collaborate on the development of compliance controls to ensure regulatory adherence.
- Maintain a reporting channel for compliance cases and manage investigations.
- Contribute to management reports related to compliance topics.
- Advise employees and business departments on compliance issues.
- Support commercial units on client requests, contracts, and audits.
- Foster synergies between Compliance Management and the Internal Control System.
- Maintain strong relationships with data centres and other departments.
The Successful Applicant
- Strong Compliance Knowledge: In-depth understanding of Compliance Management and relevant ISO standards such as ISO 37301, with several years of professional experience in compliance, auditing, or forensics.
- Educational Background: A completed university degree (Master's/Diploma preferred) or comparable professional experience, with additional qualifications in compliance or related fields being a plus.
- Fluent in English: Strong command of English, with multilingual skills being an advantage.
- Analytical and Investigative Skills: Strong ability to analyse complex compliance issues and creatively investigate the facts of compliance cases.
- Autonomous and Responsible: Ability to work independently, take initiative, and handle responsibilities with attention to detail.
- Effective Communicator: Confident, empathetic, and able to communicate compliance matters clearly across all levels of the organisation.
- Team Player: Able to work effectively in an international and cross-functional team environment.
- Structured and Organised: A highly structured, accurate, and disciplined approach to managing compliance tasks and documentation.
