Compliance Manager

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Manager, Compliance to support our compliance function, specifically focusing on anti-money laundering (AML), know your customer (KYC), know your business (KYB), know your transaction (KYT), enhanced due diligence (EDD), and transaction monitoring. The successful candidate will oversee compliance activities within the group, ensuring adherence to the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) guidelines on digital assets, as well as implementing effective compliance procedures, including on-chain transaction monitoring.

Responsibilities:-

• Overseeing the compliance function across the organization to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Conduct customer due diligence (CDD), enhanced due diligence (EDD), and on-going due diligence (ODD)
• Conduct transaction monitoring to identify suspicious activities, utilizing on-chain transaction monitoring tools (Elliptic).
• Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments.
• Investigate and resolve compliance issues.
• Maintain accurate records of compliance activities and findings.
• Develop, implement and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) guidelines on digital assets and other relevant regulations.
• Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations, and ensure that the company remains compliant

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Able to work on-site.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance, risk management, AML, KYC, KYB, KYT, EDD, and transaction monitoring.
• Preferably within the financial services and digital assets sector.
• Preferred if able to start work immediately.
• Familiarity with the Securities Commission Malaysia (SC) guidelines on digital assets.
• Experience with transaction monitoring tools such as Elliptic is highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
