Key Responsibilities:
Compentency Framework Development:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and refine competency frameworks tailored to the specific requirements of offshore roles and responsibilities.
- Conduct regular competency assessments to evaluate the proficiency levels of technical and offshore crew personnels against established standards and benchmarks.
- Implement systems and processes to track and monitor the competency levels of individual crew members, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of competency assessments, training activities, and other relevant data.
- Generate regular reports to communicate competency metrics, trends, and improvement initiatives to management.
- Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the competency management system, processes, and tools.
- Implement best practices and innovative solutions to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay abreast of industry regulations, standards, and best practices related to competency management for offshore operations. Ensure compliance with relevant guidelines and requirements.
Training and Development:
- Identify training needs based on competency gaps and develop comprehensive training plans to address these gaps effectively. Coordinate and facilitate training sessions, workshops, and other developmental activities.
- Work closely with HR and operational teams to integrate competency management into performance appraisal processes, providing insights and recommendations for talent development and succession planning.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 2 years of work experience with preference in oil and gas industry.
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, Organizational Development, Industrial Psychology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in competency management, preferably in the offshore industry or a similar high-risk environment.
- Strong understanding of competency frameworks, assessment methodologies, and training techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different levels of the organization.
